Complete-System Installation

A new garage door is more than new sections.

Every new garage door supplied by LIFTX is installed as a complete matched system—not new sections placed onto old tracks. The quoted door package includes the new sections, track, hardware, and correctly sized springs. The opener is evaluated separately and included only when the estimate says it is.

Opening and clearance check

Width, height, headroom, sideroom, backroom, jamb condition, structure, and power are confirmed before ordering.

New matched components

Sections, tracks, hardware, springs, reinforcement, and seals are selected around the actual door and opening.

Opener coordination

The existing opener is checked for compatibility, or a new trolley or wall-mount operator is quoted separately when needed.

Balance and final testing

The door is balanced by hand before opener travel, force, controls, and safety devices receive their final test.

Installation Questions

Straight answers before you order a garage door.

What is included with a new garage door from LIFTX?

Every new garage door supplied by LIFTX is installed as a complete matched system. The door package includes new sections, track, hardware, and a correctly sized spring system. An opener is included only when it is listed in the written estimate.

Can new garage door sections be installed on my old tracks?

No. LIFTX does not install new door sections onto old tracks or reuse the old door hardware. The sections, track, hardware, and springs work together as one system and are replaced together.

Do I need a new garage door opener with a replacement door?

Not automatically. LIFTX checks whether the existing opener is compatible with the new door, properly supported, and operating safely. If it can stay, that is explained. If replacement makes sense, the reason and options are shown separately.

What affects the price of garage door installation in Boise?

Price depends on the door size, construction, insulation, windows, finish, track configuration, clearance, operator, freight, removal, and site conditions. LIFTX confirms the scope and provides a written estimate before materials are ordered.

Which garage door brands does LIFTX install?

LIFTX supplies and installs Amarr, Clopay, and Wayne Dalton garage doors, with additional products considered when they fit the opening and application.

Is a deposit required for a new garage door?

Yes. A deposit is required before LIFTX orders the door or equipment. The amount and what it covers are shown on the written estimate.
